Our History

  OUR HISTORY

In 1999, the Stanzel Family Foundation partnered with the Texas A&M School of Rural Public Health to complete
a comprehensive needs assessment of our community. Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley (BGCCV) was
formed  in 2003 after three years of extensive research, planning and development.

The Weimar Site first opened its doors in 2004, with the Schulenburg Site opening in 2005 and the Columbus Site     opening most recently in 2012.

Today, BGCCV serves over 1,650 youth annually through our three Club Sites.
